Our English speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca around 8 am and we will head to Fes for a full day tour. This tour will introduce you to the old part of the city of Fez (Medinat Al Qadima), where you can visit the Virgin Attarine or the Bou Inania Madrasa, two excellent examples of early-fourteenth century marine architecture. In addition, you will see the famous and charming fountain Nejjarine, the oldest fountain in Fez, hidden in the labyrinth of the sinuous alleys of the old city. Other highlights of the trip will undoubtedly be the Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum and the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque. The latter has played a unique role in Islamic history, as its adjacent university became one of the main spiritual and educational centers of the Muslim world. According to UNESCO it is in fact the oldest educational institution in the world. This trip lasts approximately 11 hours, and returns to your hotel in Casablanca at night around 7:00 PM.
